Saildoggie, I passed Canouan many times without stopping for whatever reason. Finally stopped there last year and was very unimpressed. Can't visit most of the island as it is owned privately and guarded with no admittance. The anchorage can be very uncomfortable with some howling winds coming over the hill. You will hear of nice little spot to anchor but only for 1 boat. If you have ample time and just want to go there, cool but there are far better places to anchor in this chain in my opinion.
