It may have been the battled that changed the war. The cemetery is in the desert not far from the sea - just miles and miles of nothing - heat sand and more sand Tank crews are buried together with three headstones to mark their resting place And the amount of unknown graves is overwhelming
There is a very good museum close by. The desert that surrounds the area still has lots of unexploded ordinance and after a wind storm vehicles and tanks are still be found. In 2008 they found a truck that was in the desert and it started and they drove it to the museum... crazy.
