I am looking at some properties on VRBO for a possible trip in the fall. I have literally NEVER rented on VRBO before. I guess you pay them and can pay with a credit card? My question has to do with cancellation. Since you are paying the owner really, is there a problem if you have to cancel? If for instance, the listing says it is fully cancellable until October 1, for instance, and you cancel, for whatever reason, by then, do you have a problem getting your money back? Any other issues I should be aware of, other than of course, if the property is mis-represented online, which I guess does happen..
