It might be wise to wait for an official announcement that the exclusion zone has been rescinded, I wouldn't want to use a post on WhatsApp as my only defense when C&I comes alongside and tells me that they intend to impound my boat. Best to continue calling in prior to transiting and getting the good news directly from customs. I've checked the BVI govt. pages for anything official and haven't found a hint.
Here you go. The exclusion zone is defined in the curfew order that renews every 2 weeks. The order that was Gazetted on 11 March redefined the zone to be around Little and Great Thatch islands and specifically calls out the a new corridor to allow transit from Nanny Cay to JVD.
