As was posted here, Celebrity is home porting a ship in Sint Maarten for June, July and August this year. I ASSUMED that they would be doing charter air. Ok, you can bowl me over with a feather, but they are not. The ship holds 2,000 at full capacity, but I don't know how many pax they actually are going to take, but at even 50%, that's still 1,000 extra people. Now, some will come in a day or two before or stay a day or two after, but many will come and go on a Saturday. ...along with virtually all timeshare folks... Juliana is going to be a MADHOUSE on Saturdays. SOOO, if I were someone with any kind of flexibility in my travel dates, I would try REALLY hard to not fly in and out of Juliana on a Saturday this summer.
