It’s spelled out on Avis, Budget and quite a few more. stop being a shill I beg your pardon. No reason to be nasty on this forum. Chill out. Liability can be a money grab for some companies and some not. Was just pointing out one company that I rent from that is honest with it as you did too but no need to make a derogatory remark to me. And the original post was about credit card coverage of COLLISION damage. Liability was not part of the conversation until another poster mentioned it and then you put your plug in for Hertz, as you always do. You can chill out as well. And to Linda, glad it worked out for you. I had a claim in the US a few years ago on a rental and had used my Cap One card. While the rental company was somewhat of a pain to deal with, Cap One came through and all ended well. Cap One is the only card I currently have that still offers this coverage.
