Keep in mind that most of the flight cancelations are at the regional level. The major airlines are catching up with replacing all the pilots they retired early in a covid panic. The question is will they continue to over schedule or match capacity with actual ability. Stats are actually quite good at the moment with most cancelations being caused by ATC restrictions.
