We have never experienced this before in any of our travels. Wife and I stopped into Yellow Sub for a drink after a long day on the beach, we were seated at a table and nobody bothered to serve us for at least 10 minutes so we decided to mosy on up to the bar and sit there, after 5 minutes of no service my wife walked over to where the bartender was talking to a few of his friends so she ordered drinks for us, a glass of pinot and a rum and coke. We watched the bartender pour the pinot into a wine glass and he realized he had poured a little too much, perhaps 1/4" too much, but not a lot, so he took the glass and poured the excess back into the wine bottle, I mean c'mon, really? After we quickly finished our drinks i called him over and asked him why he did that and that we had never seen that before, his abrupt reply was, I poured too much and he walked away. They just lost two regular customers and btw I could hardly taste the rum in my drink.
