Well I'm glad we weren't the only ones to notice 😄
Although we never ate there we called in several times for a drink at the bar as it was on our daily walk and we liked it as a beach bar.
The staff were excellent - really friendly young people.
But I've owned hospitality businesses long enough to know you need a manager to read the room if the staff can't.
If it was a Spring Break crowd then maybe the loud music increases the sale of drinks.
But November when we were there was essentially a middle-aged to elderly crowd. And for many of them loud music can be a real pain in the backside.
My wife knows I simply won't eat in any restaurant where the music is at an intolerable level.
Piped music around hotel swimming pools is another bugbear. I mean who in the world doesn't have their personal music choice on their own device and ear buds if they want music ?
Maybe things have changed at this bar since our visit.
