Ok, know what you mean. We are turning off all of the un-needed functions of the camera and the camcorder. Will be taking along another battery for each anyway. We are now considering the laptop since the weight increase, and that would need to be charged daily even if I would take along another battery. Have not completely decided about the laptop yet.
