We always book airfare first, especially when the price is right, then look for a place to stay. We have rented timeshares, especially in the Flamingo for almost peanuts from owners. It's a no brainer for us, I would never want to be locked into certain dates. And if the Flamingo is not available, there are so many other places to stay. We like variety!
