The TexMex place is where you thought, more or less on the corner by the escalator on the lower level in the space that once was Paris Bistro.
I also have no recollection of any restaurants of that nature between the stairs and Subway but sadly, that means nothing. Unless we ate there and really enjoyed it, it probably wouldn't ring any bells with me.
And thank you, Walt and Ed, for trying to pinpoint it for the more directionally challenged among us.
