If you are drinking the ice, you are drinking the water. There is no reason to worry or fret about what you cannot control. If there were any real issues to worry about here the charter boat business would die... There simply is no escaping the local water on a week long trip and any issues with illness here would be very evident and nasty... What to do with trash and running out of ice are larger issues... to not worry about.
