Hilma's saltfish Johnny Cakes are wonderful for lunch! Especially washed down with an islands beer...
It's a trailer with four stools at the back "serving end" but it is wonderful "food truck" fare with an island flavor . Highly recommend it!
Do not let the words "salt fish" deter you...that is how the filets are preserved...and have been for hundreds of years. They are NOT overly salty upon serving!
Sorta like how "Syracuse Salt Potatoes" are not really overly salty...just creamy smooth and delish!
(Yes, I grew up in Syracuse NY...)
