"Greetings! This is Linda and Roger on S/V Dalliance and THIS is our story. Two years ago this month we decided to sell the house and almost everything we own, quit our jobs, and move to the Virgin Islands to start a small term charter business. We often have questions and this site looks like a good avenue for support. As I write, our boat is on the hard at Nanny Cay getting bottom paint. Roger and I are staying at Nanny Cay Hotel. The boat will weather tropical storm Erika on the hard. (yeah!!) Before Danny became a non threat we headed to Culebra looking for refuge from the storm... We are so grateful there was not storm because her draft is too deep to get into the mangroves and we would not have fared well even in a severe tropical storm. Now that I am in this site I can read how others are weathering storm season. We need a place to keep our boat next year and we are definitely on a budget. Any thoughts? Love Linda "
