I'm not trying to be nasty or cynical - we're several months into this process and we've got demolition complete (oh wow!) and we've got one foundation in. We've got walls to pour and set, roofs to build, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, restaurant equipment installation, parking lots, road, landscaping, etc, etc.

This is mid-late 2016 for sure!

OK, now seeing the caliber of what they're building, surely it won't be forever as I originally thought with stronger construction details, but I still think 2016 is realistic with all they have to do as far as the build-outs, roadwork, etc. Framing is usually a few weeks out of several months total construction time for a house, right? Gee, I do hope its done by Easter!
