On 2/13 we spent the day anchored off of Sandy Cay, dinghied in, and lazed away the day on the beach. After a dip we came back to our towels and low and behold a baby sea turtle had popped out from under one of our towels. After getting his bearings for about a minute, he made a bee-line towards the ocean. We gave him a bit of added help as he was getting tossed by the waves pretty good and before you know it he was off into the great wide open. Needless to say we moved locations after this worried we may be on top of a nest. Was very odd though as everything I have seen indicates that they hatch and don't emerge until evening for their mad dash to the sea. http://i437.photobucket.com/albums/qq91/drgamble/Seaturtle.jpghttp://i437.photobucket.com/albums/qq91/drgamble/seaturtle2.jpg
