Wrap Up and Observations <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Other Meals – Peg Leg’s still great steaks and service, we have known Shawn for years, their best Ambassador.

Green House at the end of Front Street in Phillipsburg, Happy Hour Dinner, food is very good.

La Gondola for Italian in the Atlantis Casino Complex, still one of our favorites, didn’t disappoint this visit either.

Uncle Harry’s for sheer rustic ambience, yes the Lobsters are expensive, 34.50 I think a lb. We ordered one around 2.5 lbs and 1 fillet between us. The Lobster was perfect but I’d have to say the Filet was a disappointment over previous years. Even after Scilly Cay I had to go back to Harry’s we really enjoy the atmosphere there.

Baywatch at Orient Beach, Cheryl and Andy are the best, this time I asked if she would sell me a menu as they are pure Art, LOL, Anyway they are very expensive so she wouldn’t but then she goes and gets me one of last years and gives it to me. I had a Cheeseburger and Patti a Cod Burger, great food as always. We were there on Obama’s Inauguration Day and caught part of it though Andy was having some grief with the Satellite We had told Dan and Betty our new friends and 1st timers from Iowa about Baywatch. They went another day and as they arrived, they were closing up yet Andy gave them a beer on the house. Later, wherever they ate dinner, they ran into them again and Dan and Betty bought the beer. I know you all know but for the newer folks, your treated at Baywatch like a relative, don’t miss it. Absolute fun place with great food. Did I tell you I collect License Plates, LOL.

Crime, non-existent for us, we went everywhere and at night as well and had no issues. We did see a road check as someone had previously alluded to here at the top of the Cay Bay Roundabout, just pulling over Islanders and waiving the tourists on. I read later in the Herald about that afternoon’s results (2:30 or so) 12 people detained for improper or missing paperwork and 52 violations for vehicle safety.

Mosquito’s – though we know better we didn’t buy Mosquito Milk and come Friday morning, Patti’s legs were dotted with red welts. Funny the noseums of course but we only noticed them Thursday and Friday night and they liked her better than me, LOL
Anyway we are both fine today, no dengue.

Traffic and Weather, impressed with both, we think tourism down on the Island from previous years, sign of the times we think.

DIVI – The renovations are very very nice, we were impressed with our Unit finally being done in mid December, not much sign of damage now, the Hotel lower front units damaged are discreetly tarped over. Shrubs, plants being planted looks pretty good considering OMAR.

Cheers! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />
