Thanks, Ed. Fig is open. We loved it last year. Got mixed reviews from our friends who went this year in Maho. Also, 17 of us went for drinks at Fig New Years Eve prior to dinner at Pizza Pasta, since they now have a large bar area overlooking the street. They were nice enough, but the bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though they didn't seem very crowded otherwise.

Re friends in SXM being like family, I couldn't agree more. The girls who used to babysit for my daughter are now all coming down with their own kids. We have made some extremely close friendships over the years with our La Plage family, and get together with some of them during the year when they visit the NY area.
