She never wrote it down, unfortunately. The basic recipe is:
Bunch of fresh mint leaves, chopped (about 1/4 cup) 1/3 Cup boiling water 1 or 2 Tbsp. sugar, depending on how sweet you like your sauce. Stir together to dissolve sugar & cool slightly. Stir in: 1/3 Cup cider or white vinegar Salt & pepper to taste.
Serve warm with roasted lamb.
I have a big pot of mint on my patio. It comes back every year & I never have to do anything but water it and pinch it back a bit. I learned to never plant mint in a garden since it takes over everything!
