This is traditionally one of the biggest and most celebrated holidays on the island each year. We came close to getting completely boxed in at Friars Bay years ago by the Easter holiday revelers and we learned it's either a day to walk to Mullet or remain at our Towers resort pool until the holiday is done.
And tomorrow the plastic trash bag people will most likely be amassing in big numbers at Mullet to clean up the debris left behind by the revelers. We've taken part in the clean up more years than I want to remember. I don't remember it being this way when we first started visiting over forty plus ago but it's sadly the norm today.
