As others have stated, use common sense. If you rent a car, DO NOT leave anything of value in the car at any point unless you are in the car. Do not try to hide something in the trunk or under a seat and assume it will be safe.

Do not wear a lot of jewelry, especially neck chains as they are an easy target. Not trying to scare you in any fashion but the car break-ins and jewelry grabs are two of the more common problems but are not rampant.

Our first stay-over trip to the island was at Divi, that was 25 years and 42 trips ago.
