We were first introduced by someone who lives on the island and have had incredibly good meals at Luna Rosa in Simpson Bay (more or less across the street from Toppers...) each time we've eaten there. Another very good option might be Basillico at Starz (formerly Atlantis) Casino. Cugini's was also very good but I believe someone mentioned they are now closed. Many here speak well of Izi next to the movie theater. I have to say, we found it very close, very loud and very average in food and not anywhere I'd really want to celebrate a very special evening, but that's me and I'm sure others will differ from that opinion.
