I hate to admit it, but not sure where the restaurant you're referencing was but the building that houses Luna Rosa is a multi-storied building - perhaps 3-4 stories? - almost diagonally across from the entrance to the Royal Palm timeshare property and likewise from Toppers Restaurant on the lagoon side when coming from the Towers. The restaurant itself is easy to miss since the only signage I'm familiar with is on the plate glass windows.
The food is very good and the owner makes her own pasta and focaccia. She also has a gluten free pasta and each of the specials we've tried have been delicious. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
