Oh brother, here we go again. The OP stated that there had been a creepy incident - that's all. [color:"blue"]At no time were you asked for your views on what is or isn't acceptable. We're all exposed to things that we'd prefer not to be, and usually try to avoid them. And the whole legal/illegal issue has been discussed here ad infinitum. I say it's a gray area (define nudity). [color:"blue"]Time to end this one - nothing new here.

Nudity = No clothing ( that was easy )
Nothing "gray" about nude sunbathing on the entire Dutch side of the island.

Somehow, we seem to have drifted away from the OPs intentions regarding advising everyone to be aware it isn't all paradise in paradise.

My disclaimer here - I am not a nudist but at the same time, I'm willing to concede there's a time and a place for everyone and everything.

Regarding nudity on the Dutch side, it is and has always been verboten but that said, it has always been practiced ergo accepted on Cupecoy so there should be no question that people might expect to encounter it there. But they should NOT have to encounter the other. My best suggestion would be to let Dany know about it and beyond that, if you are so inclined, you might want to advise the Dutch police to be aware and perhaps prepared to stop by now and then.

People have to learn to coexist in a climate that isn't always perfect and that would be both nudists and textiles. Orient Beach at Club O - you couldn't have a better beach location. Anywhere else on the island, please use discretion and respect for others on the beach and seak out like-minded beach goers of whichever persuasion suits your personal preferences.
