snmhanson said: Don't mean to derail the thread, but where can I get more info about mifi devices? We are going to be sailing the Leewards and going between several islands and I am hoping to find a solution for that trip, as well as future trips. I know nothing about mifi, but it sounds like I should be able to find a mifi device that I can just switch sim cards depending on where we are. Is that correct? Any advice on which device to look at?
Thanks for any help.
Matt Yes, you can, we have used it in the Caribbean and Europe. In the French islands , I think the service was Orange. We set the wifi, or mifi to the name of the boat. Click on Long Overdue and everyone on board can use the signal.
