We will be on St. John for 5 days. Will have a car and like to explore. Any and all tips for a good time are welcome. Love beach bars, fine dining, beautiful beaches, snorkeling and short hikes.

Since it is Carnival in STJ you should make yourself aware of traffic closures if you are driving through Cruz Bay - the Parade is on the 4th with fireworks at night - it is a very busy week in STJ but Carnival has some great food and music but the Cruz Bay parking situation which is always problematic gets really tough that week.
