From Connecticut drove to Dayz inn spent the night and left the cars. Took shuttle to JFK. No problems with the flights.
We have been going to Towers for 25 years for two weeks a year. This year many family members came to join me and my husband for our 25 wedding anniversary, renewal of our vows.
The Towers is still beautiful and the staff are the best…just like family members
Beaches:
Karater: first time here. I loved the water, atmosphere, service and food. One of our favorites now.
Kontiki: one of our usual stops. Great food, service and beach
Mullet: Absolutely beautiful brought our own drinks and sandwiches.
Dreams: Restaurant , service, food great. I did not like the seaweed, or the water. Ended up getting stung from something. If I go back it would be for the food.

Restaurants:
Sunset beach bar---food is much better than usual. The remodeling is awesome!
La Rosa in Maho. –Food was excellent along with the service. Thank you Ricky!
Ranchos-Food was excellent along with the service
Dreams- Excellent food
Kontiki: Good food
The stone—you have to go here. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you Neil (celine to) for the referral. Neils son runs the place. Saw the fireworks across the bay due to Bastille day.
Celebration-renewing our vows:
Thank you Jeannie for reaching out and helping. You are the best.
Wedding planner: Maressia Baily-Mohamed, Artemia Event Planners, Sint Maarten Mary –Me.
Maressia did better than I expected in setting up the ceremony on the beach. She and her staff are extra kind and wonderful with detail. I can’t thank her enough for all she has done. A gentleman was on the beach watching us set up and asked if he could film the event. His name is david le Blanc please feel free to see the video on his facebook, he did a phenomenal job! Thank you David. Thank you to the Towers for helping my sister in law and sister order flowers for me.

Entertainment:
-Casino Royal
-Starz was ok, but no more tables so we left.
-Princess casino
-Sopranos piano bar- EXCELLENT
-Celine to-evening cruise. Neil is an absolutely wonderful captain and person. The view in the evening is to die for! We started at the Stone for appetizers, then to port cupecoy at the Rendez vous finishing at the dingy bar. Can’t wait to try the day trip to tintimarre.
-The Amigos for drinks
-Sky lounge in maho was a great place to hang out, drinks listen to music.
-Tantra- excellent night club for dancing

Sounds like a lovely trip and sincere congratulations on the special anniversary and the surrounding festivities. So very glad Jeannie was able to help you with some of the details - she really is great.

And I second your thoughts on Dreams - very good food and service but the beach is most definitely NOT a favorite, but then it's hard for any each to top Mullet, even on a bad day there.

Did you notice any significant changes around the Towers. Hopefully, all the staff is healthy and happy.

Respectfully,

pat

Pat,
the towers was in great shape along with the many updates made. The staff are all doing well. Im counting the days till we go back next year!
Also, i forgot to mention we used Kennys for car services. Lesley you rock! I would never use anyone else. So convenient and he is soooo nice!

Congratulations on your anniversary!
Did you leave your car at the Days Inn? If so, what is the parking fee? Thanks!

Could it be Days Inn? I can't find any Dayz Inn.
