Well, due to health issues, we were unable to book a late summer holiday until the latest reprieve heard of only today. Couldn't get flights to Malta during the time scale we had in mind, so we've just managed to get on a small (40 people) cruise ship traveling around Croatia. I am so excited and so looking forward to it. On a previous sailing holiday to Croatia, we didn't have the time to travel far from the yacht base near (!) Split. Now we get to travel north to Zadar, visit Krka National Park, around Hvar and Brac, visiting Split and, my favorite, Trogir. Such a beautiful country from my memories of nearly ten years ago. Roll on beginning of September.

We will be on MV President. The itinerary starts in Trogir, goes north to Sibenik, Krka national park (with the waterfalls, the bit I really wanted to get to when we sailed but way to far to achieve in a week and given weather conditions) up to Zadar, and back via Zlarin around Havr and Brac. We had previously covered the coast, by land, to Dubrovnik, so I especially wanted to travel north. Most cruises do not do this route, generally traveling south to Dubrovnik and round the islands. If I can work out how to post photos here, I will do so.... Don't hold your horses as I am not a techno-phone and have tried before to no avail. Can certainly let you know how it goes anyway. Hope your friends have enjoyed their visit.

We are patient folks on the World Board. Heck we waited months for Beerman’s final Swiss-Italia report <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> I know we can hold on as long as it takes for you to upload photos. We do love our pictures here.
Have a safe trip, and I am sorry you did not get to return to Malta, but sounds like a great adventure will be had.

Yep saw your post - Congrats on finally having access to Presidente. It did confirm one thing I always knew...
