We dined for the first time at Le Petit Paris in Maho and even though we spend a lot of time in Maho (business) we had never eaten there. It looked like no place that could be decent and there had been a succession of restaurants in that location so was a NO for us.

To our surprise we went (as guests of other locals) and the food was fantastic! Like Grand Case fine dining caliber. In addition our server, Samantha, who is originally Welsh but longtime resident of the island was superb. She made the night super enjoyable in addition to the good food.

Maho isn't a street I want to look at when dining, but the inside is chic and nice. As most regulars know on here, I rarely plug a dining establishment, but this was a pleasant surprise and we will be returning.

I think Paris Bistro has been closed for a few years. It fell off our radar with the arrival of LeMoulin Fou, and after a falling-out with the head waiter over a reservation they failed to honor. Too many great restaurants without l'attitude of superiority to be bothered with them after years of enjoyable dining there.

It is the restaurant that was Fusion at one time. There's an awning on the "sidewalk" that allows for outside dining in the evening. No tables are left out during the day, so it's easy to miss that there's a restaurant there.

yes.....where fusion was. we dined there last year and our experience there was fair to mid. NO WAY when we were there did it resemble Grand Case dining at all. Both our dishes, had to be sent back to correct mistakes. In the two years open, this is the first time I've ever heard anybody rave bout this place.
My two cents.....

Maybe we just happened to hit there on a super good night! I was taken by surprise too! I had escargot and duck and both were so good. My wife had lamb chops and she loved them as well.

We will try it again in a few weeks and report back!

Three Amigos is where Paris Bistro was. I honestly walked by Petit Paris and didn't think much of it, maybe will have to check it out. it is where Fusion was. (I think).
