Our favorite Italian restaurant on the island is Spiga. It is in Grand Case, but not on the water. I'm not aware of an Italian restaurant on the water in Grand Case, but I haven't been to Grand Case in several years, so I could be wrong about that.

Il Nettuno has long been our favorite Italian waterfront restaurant in Grand Case but rumor has it they may have changed hands again since we were last there in April 2015. Our new favorite of all the Italian restaurants on the island is Luna Rosa in Simpson Bay but sorry, not on the water. It's a place many will pass on because of the location but the food is all freshly made and very good as well as being reasonably priced. They even have a gluten-free fresh pasta for those who need it.

We enjoyed Il Nettuno when we were there in July.

Il Nettuno is a long time Italian restaurant on the water in Grand Case. Other than the long gone Sebastiano's, I think it is the only one on the water. Il Nettuno had been our favorite for many years. We haven't been there recently, but for your criteria, in Grand Case, that would be my recommendation.

Piazza Pascal is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Grand Case. Although not on the water, if you sit upstairs there is a beautiful open air view. One of the best restaurants in Grand Case,in my opinion, and it is a "must do" at least once, usually twice, during our stay.

Sammy,

Coming from the airport and heading through Simpson Bay, it's over the drawbridge on the left hand side of the road in a small multi-storied commercial building. It's almost across the street from Toppers. Be aware the signage is not great - but the glass windows on the street level read 'Ristorante Italiano'. We were at Royal Palm one evening visiting friends and easily crossed the street and walked to it. Really good, fresh and reasonably priced and well served Italian food.

I can attest to the quality of the food and the excellent service at Luna Rossa. Last November we dined there are first week and went back for our Thanksgiving dinner. A wonderful experience both times.

Be Happy! Simply because you deserve to be. 😁

If you're set on dining in Grand Case and want Italian you should go to Piazza Pascal. It's not on the water but it's the best Italian in Grand Case.

Two BIG thumbs up in complete agreement here. Donna and Pascal are the BEST. Not water front, but a wonderful setting, and the best Italian in Grand Case for sure!

Some evenings Sunset Cafe at Grand Case Beach Club has Italian. This place is where people go to watch the sunset either from their bar or along the terrace. It's an open air restaurant right on the water.

Go to their website and see photos then email them for info about the menu etc.

I agree 100%. It is not on the water but the food and atmosphere are splendid. Sorry can't think of any Italian on the water.

Neither do any of the others mentioned except Il Netuno. I didn't intend to imply it had a sunset view.
