We're looking to sail three weeks in Maine next summer (2017) and wondering if anyone can recommend a charter company who's reasonably priced and offers newer (than 2009) monohauls sailboats? We're looking for a 36'-40'. It's the newer boats that seem to be the tricky part. Thanks- Tami

Where do you want to sail? Yes, you said Maine, but what part of Maine ? It is a long coastline !

As for the " newer than 2009", I'm non-plussed as to why that would be a " necessary" ?

With Morris, Sparkman and Stephens, Hinckley and NUMEROUS other highly regarded boatbuilders in the state, there are some absolutely wonderful boats out there in charter. What amenities are you seeking post 2009 ?

Seriously, speak up here.

The coastline of Maine is 3500 miles worth. Where do you want to be ? Southcoast ? Portland? Boothbay, Penobscot Bay ? Acadia? Downeast?
