First weeks highlights . Weather has been warm (duh) with a few showers (some heavy) which makes the island REALLY green right now. Beaches are relatively clean ( of sea grass). Trip to Anguilla with a special appearance by Alan and Colleen ( Capt Alan)for long time return customers. Water was very calm so we got in some great snorkeling at spots that are sometimes not so accessable. Saw plenty of sea turtles and the usual fishy types including a few Lion Fish. Spent more time at the resort that usual partaking in the "September" special events. Sunset dinner at Karackter was pleasant as usual. Checked out another place at the other end of the same beach that is accesable past Sunset Beach bar, El Zafiro's .. worth checking out as it is similar atmosphere to Karackters . Beaches : Mullet was great as usual and is our favorite. Off to French side beaches this week.

Thanks for the first week report! What about evening meals? Other than Karakter, where did you eat?

Staying at Oyster Bay ... Food .. Busby's, dinner once and pizza once. the Infinity resturant here at the resort .. Big Fish for dinner once. Karackters for dinner twice ( Sunday is a good day to go there ) Some places closed of course but plenty enough open not to starve. Margot/Grand Case places are renovating or open for short hours only right now. Great food is not hard to find .. but that "special" place you love may not be. Not a big deal for us.
