Hi gang,
I am having trouble with photocucket and am playing around with flickr. I know someone posted a trip report a while ago with photos I believe from flickr. If you are reading can you post or PM me to tell me how I add pictures to TTOL posts from flickr. I would love to post some picture trip reports from my May/June trip and am getting ready to go to Spain in a few weeks so want to trip report over on World forum if I can figure out how to do the picture thingy

yeah free photobucket is becoming a real pain with all the adds and adware that is hiding in many of the links.

That is one of the reasons I have gone to the blog format (using blogger) for my trip reports and just publish link on TTOL. Let me know if you want to pursue starting a blog and need help. Here is a link to my last blog - Malta There are pros an cons of doing it this way, but I think the pros out weigh the cons.

But most importantly... watch out for the Monkeys on Gibraltar. What did you decide on Africa as part of the Spain trip? Is a ferry to Morocco in your future?

I'm honestly not sure why everyone is going to Photobucket, etc. We don't need it because we have our own servers, but it used to be that internet providers provided their clients some free storage space, or you can pay a small amount to get it. Does this no longer exist?

Do you have a photo storage option as part of TTOL Carol? I would much rather not have to deal with this frustration with Photobucket and Flickr etc....I love to trip, report and add pictures but it's becoming a pain...

I have an old iPad and older computer so that's likely my problem but my world is getting less and less techy as I change my focus to travel and simply enjoying life simply....it's amazing what happens when you power down for a bit ....

You can upload pictures in the BVI photo forum, if they are under a certain size. As far as larger size pictures, no, we don't offer that.

That forum has been there for a long time. I have mentioned it several times and no one seems to use it. You do have to upload each picture individually. To keep from really jamming up the appearance of that forum, it would be better if you did one post and replies to it, for the additional photos, like I have done with my Hawaii pictures for Pat in the General Travel Picture forum. If you do decide to upload there, you have to pay it forward and do some semblance of a trip report, etc..

And to post a photo in the regular BVI forum, you need to click on the picture that you uploaded in the photo forum to get the properties, if you're in IE, or in Firefox, it's 'copy image location', or something similar. Then use that address in the IMAGE tag.

Thus your relaxing at Wonky Dog is here
