Hi all. We have been travelling to the BVI and USVI for 20+ years. This year we will be in St. John over the Christmas / New Year holidays and bringing our "of age" kids along. Our daughter has celiac and can only drink gluten free beer. She will be fine at the bars, as she can drink mixed drinks if needed, but does anyone have a suggestion as to where I could purchase or order some gluten free beer for the house while we are there? Thank you in advance!!

Hi
Just a note of caution from a celiac - Omission is a low-gluten beer, i.e. gluten has been removed from the malted barley to below the 20 ppm level that the USDA has taken as a standard for beers. If your daughter is as sensitive as I am, I might advise you use your own judgement as to its use. I only drink sorghum based beer - the most widely available is Redbridge, made by Anheuser-Busch. Fortunately, we have a fine local beer (made in Utica) called Bard’s Tale. Maybe Starfish might have Redbridge. There are also UK gluten-free beers - who knows whether they are available tho.
Peace

Thanks for the input! Omission and Red Bridge are both beers that she can drink. I"ll see what the Starfish has, or we will pick up some Omission in St. Thomas. Knowing that there are some options available there helps!!
Thank you!! Cheers -
jim
