One week IS NOT ENOUGH! But the good thing is we get to come back in 3 1/2 months!!

Have had a great week, even though the weather has been the worst that we've ever had. Lots of rain and the humidity has been terrible. I have to admit I prefer the February and March weather much better.

Enjoyed a great day on the Pasaatt with a relatively small group of people, versus the regular crew of disfunctionaries!!! Did meet Anna & Steve on the trip. Even being a small group, it was a lovely day sail.

Lots of great restaurants visited this time. Some new ones, some favorites, and some we never even got to. So many great places, so little time. Our favorites this past week: Sale & Pepe, Le Moulin Fou, The Palms, Dreams and
Avantika. Others we contributed cash to were Pizza Galley, The Greenhouse, Karacter and Pineapple Pete's.

Not as much traffic as there is in February and March, and reservations for dinners were really not needed, however we did make them at Sale & Pepe and Le Moulin Fou.

We stayed at a different villa this week, versus our normal digs. Very nice, right on the beach, great views! We will be staying here for a while in March, too.

Packed and ready to hit the friendly skies.....Jet Blue, don't let us down!

Sorry your weather wasn't perfect but happy you were still able to enjoy your extra time and wishing you safe travels until you're safely home again. No surprises, Jet Blue. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the report! I just assumed that you were staying at your regular villa. Is this one in Pelican Key also? Safe travels home!

I agree, parting is. We will be there Sunday for a week. Glad you had a good time. We will also be going again late spring or early summer. What was the name of your villa? We are planning on renting for two weeks next spring. Thanks

Carol, Joecool, the villa is in the Pelican Key area. Not our usual haunt, but just up the street about 1/2 a mile. It is called Carisma On The Beach. Two bedroom/two bath. No pool, but private hot tub (which is not hot, air temperature, very refreshing.

Thanks. I'm sure with the humidity this time, it was a welcome dip! Perhaps in the winter, they heat it?

Carol, when we were there last March, it was not heated.

OK, too bad. A heated jacuzzi in March might be neat!
