I know this restaurant was sold and is now managed by new owners. This used to be one of our favorite places to go for a quiet dinner on the beach. Has anyone been there lately?

Thank you for asking, Lisa. It's long been a favorite of ours too since we first discovered it in the early 80s, and when we were there in April, JP introduced us to the buyers but at that time the deal wasn't quite done. Ive been wondering myself what the status of the place is and if the deal went through but to date, I haven't heard a thing.

To clarify, the 'Antoines' we were speaking of is Antoine's by the Sea on Front Street and is unrelated to Kakao as I understand. But I've been wrong more than once. The owners, as I always understood it, were Jean Pierre and Pierre, whose last names escape me at this time.
