Looking at one bedroom villa for my wife and I. Looks like this is new villa on rental market. Does anyone have any information on this villa? Thanks

First time I've seen this villa. We like the Terres Basses area. Only down side I can see is it looks like you will have to drive to the beach.

It's brand new. Only a few months old so reviews may not be present yet. It has a great location in Falaise des Oiseaux (cliff of birds) in Terres Basses so you will have panoramic views. The villa is quite private with an exceptional setting. Open concept with elegant decor. It is very spacious for a one bedroom.
Comparable villas would be Les palmiers on Baie Rouge beach, la perla bianca and la perla classic.

For hillside villas, Bamboo tends to be very nice and villa Nid D'Amour is one of the most popular options. But I think Truffle has a better location than those two comparable hillside villas.
I would not hesitate with Truffle. I think it's a great option.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Rob

Really appreciate your input on this villa! We have stayed in several villas, including Bamboo that you mentioned. I have a general idea where it is located, but not sure the proximity to the closest beach? I would think that would be a plum beach, but not sure if or how long it would take to walk there?

Plum Bay beach would be the closest. We have villa Truffle mapped out on the bottom of the page.

It's less than a 10 minute walk (750m) but you have to account for the uphill walk on the return.
To be more specific, here is the distance mapped up from the villa to Plum Bay beach.

It's a gorgeous villa. It will have much better views than Bamboo but a similar standard of design level. While Bamboo has a slight Asian characteristic, Truffle is a bit more neutral on the contemporary scheme. It's a very popular trend these days. Open formats, clean lines and aesthetics with big views.
