Just heard that it re-opened. Can anyone confirm? We really missed it this past November (although the previous November it wasn't very good). We did shop at Petite Casino, but they have limited stock. And the traffic from Orient to Marigot was HORRIBLE, so we didn't try to go there.

We just came back on monday and it was closed and no signs of opening any time soon...I saw something on Facebook about a Simply reopening but it was about a Simply in France !! Anyway, the one in Hope Estate has been bought by Super U so when it reopens, it will be under Super U !

There is a new smaller grocery store in Cul de Sac near Pancho Villa on the right side heading toward the dock to Pinel. It is a former gas station. We stumbled upon it and were surprised at the variety and quality of the products. Not were you want to do the bulk of your shopping but it was better than driving to Marigot for small things. For the life of me I can't recall the name of the place...

We were told by a resident that it wouldn't be opening until June or July.
