Does anyone have any experience there? We have a group of 8 possibly staying there for our last night on STT after our charter. Should we keep it or look elsewhere?

Nice family run hotel - not luxurious but simple and clean - very nice shore amenities - swimmable if you want - maybe 20 min. taxi to airport.

It's on St Thomas, not the BVI. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

In the original post, he said that he is looking for a place to stay on St. Thomas. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

4 of us stayed there for one night several years ago. Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly and the best rum punch ever!!! Also Iggies is right there....decent bar food and right on the beach. I would stay there again. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

thank you! I joined the forum just a little while ago but have been "stalking" it for months, if not years at this point. You all have such great advice and input! This will be our 3rd charter (2nd with these friends). We originally thought we would have 2 extra nights on STT after the charter so it made sense to stay at more of a resort type place. We finagled another night on Pura VIda out of TMM so we are only there for one afternoon/night.

Yes, skip. I was jerking the moderator's chain, as this is the BVI forum... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

We stayed there in 2012. I would recommend it. One caveat: The sound of the waves at night was drowned out by the wall mounted air conditioner in our (and probably all of the other) units.

We stayed there a couple of days maybe 3 years ago.
It was good. Middle-of-the-road quality rooms. Enjoyed the beach and food. Iggy's beach bar is just a short walk down the beach and has entertainment. Fun.

Stayed there for one night last Feb before our charter. Only complaint was they have solar water heaters so there wasn't really any hot water in the AM for 4 people to shower. The big plus is Iggys.

I got married on the beach there in 2010. It is a nice place and Iggy's is fun!
We moved to Frenchmans Reef Marriott for a few nights and wish we would have stayed put at Bolongo.
