This is from www.about.com. Some good recipes. I thought it sounded great. Capital Grille has a coffee grind rub on one of their steaks. Hubby loves it and says you can't taste the coffee. So, when I saw this one I thought I'd pass it along..... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> This marinade adds flavor and tenderizes. Don't worry, though you won't get more than a little of the coffee flavor. This marinade works well on all meats. Ingredients:•1 cup strong coffee •3/4 cup brown sugar •1/2 cup cider vinegar •1/4 cup chopped onion •1 tablespoon olive oil •1 teaspoon dry mustard •1 teaspoon ground black pepper Preparation:Combine all ingredients in ziplock bag. OK, I feel stupid, Contessa, but for the coffee, do you use brewed coffee, or the ground beans? The recipe sounds really good.

Coffee and/or Coke based marinades are the tops! Coke and coffee marinades (combined) are excellent... the Coke breaks down the fibers &Y connective tissue, and makes the meat really tender...
