We are doing something different after 11 years of visiting St Martin. We usually stay on the French side near Orient but this year we are going spend half of our week at the Westin.

Other than the Westin, what restaurants in that area do you recommend?

We typically visit Spiga and other Grand Case resaurants, La Piment, Cote Plages, Lolos as well as Beach restaurants to give you an idea of what we like.

Also, do you know if anyone does yoga near the Westin?
Thanks much!

Oyster Pond Area: Canoa and Big Fish for seafood. Busby's Beach Bar for lunch and is Daniel's by the Sea in the evenings. Those are on the Dutch side.

On the French side Mama's Pizza and BZH Creperie are good and are on the main road. In the marina are Quai Ouest, Captain Oliver's, and Dingy Dock. Captain Oliver's has a seafood buffet on Saturday evenings.

Its only a 15 to 20 minute drive to Gran Case...

BZH has great Gallants (sp) a square crepe folded over stuffing of your choice. Delish!

And if you need a store for some supplies just before BZH on same side is a store selling Roti chickens, coffee water cheeses wine bread etc . Its run by Carole who used to be at L'Estimenet in Grand Case. Stop and give her some business.

In May there were 5 in our group and we ate at the Infinity Restaurant which is in the OBBR resort for lunch 1 day and then for dinner. Excellent food and service both times. Also had lunch at Beau Beau's and take out dinner 2 nights. The lunch wasn't anything special and service was very slow. Dinner was very good both times.
Had dinner at Big Fish and also at Canoa and both were excellent. At Canoa, which is on the dock, one of our friends dropped her credit card and it fell perfectly and went thru one of the gaps between the deck planking. It was after paying the dinner bill so she canceled the card that night. Luckily she had another card to use for the rest of the trip.

Carole has sold her store, and is now working at BZH Creperie.

Besides those mentioned in the Oyster Pond area. Stardock for breakfast or lunch on dock past Canoa. Le Planteur, very long time restaurant above Captain Olivers. L'Oasis across from BZH Creperie.
