I just don't think it would be as clean as I'd like. It's pretty easy to bring your own; I believe they'll allow you to gate check it at no cost. Just a thought.

While I agree with GaKaye and wouldn't really choose to put a baby in a rented car seat Since you would have no way of knowing how well cleaned it was, I also agree the best and most likely option for you beyond bringing one from home is to check with your car rental company.
