I have a couple unusual questions. Does the Royal Palm still have the older kind of gray/blue beach towels or have they changed their towels to the same striped ones they have at The Flamingo? Also, if we are staying at The Flamingo, will my room card be able to unlock the door at the gym at The Royal Palm?

the towels at RP are brown, blue and white stripes. Don't know about your Flamingo key.

I guess I'm remembering wrong. I thought someone here said that they closed the gym at Royal Palm?

I think perhaps it is still open but was moved and downsized but I am not 100% sure. It may well be closed.

It was there last year but I never went in or tried my Flamingo key. Looking through the windows yes it has been down sized quite a bit but still could get the job done.

We used it yesterday. You use your RP key or probably yourFlamingo key, and it's clean and has many machines. Call the Royal Palm to be sure about Flamingo key.
