No rainy days in the last 10 - some short showers every day -- mostly at night - more on the Northern and western facing slopes.
Bugs -- low incidence except for flies near dumpsters and garbage cans.

I agree with LocalSailor. I was there from Saturday-last Tuesday and Saturday had the longest on and off raining while we were at Peter Island. It was spectacular weather while we were there!

I was there 1/21 - 1/29.
We had sun the entire time with the exception of the 28th.
We weren't bothered by bugs on the boat, but the girls in our group got bit pretty bad (not mosquitos) during our time spent on land on JVD, even with liberal application of picaridin based bug repellent.
