So we reserved a Helia 44 (Wide Ranger) last year with CYOA out of St. Thomas for July 2017.

The understanding was that a watermaker was going to be installed last fall, so our group of ten (TEN! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> ) didn't have to stop every two days for water.

Kirsten called me today and said that they don't have the watermaker installed yet... soooooo "just to be safe" she moved us into "Glad In It" (same type of cat) free of charge for the same dates!

Glad in it also has an in-mast roller-furling main which will be much easier for my somewhat green (or rusty, anyhow) crew to handle.

You guys are so awesome! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Walt, would you really expect anything different from a class act like CYOA?

We just finished our second charter with them out of 16. What a difference from the BVI companies. They care.

We did 10 in Glad In It July 2015. Good times! Adding a watermaker to that boat makes a big difference; we had to get water every other day with that crew.

Cheers, RickG

So glad to hear and see the great reviews on CYOA!!! This will be our first charter with them coming up at the end of March. Previously only used the BVI firms, but on our last charter, ventured into USVI via boat and realized that the clearing in/out process, wasn't so bad after all.

Only 34 days away!

CYOA is the best company in the US and BVI without a question.
They do a check out sail with every charterer and they have experienced personal.
I have never chartered with them but have frequented the bar at the Hook Line and Sinker and never heard a complaint.

Clearing in/out is really no big deal and certainly out weighed by the saving hassle of riding ferry boats or paying 50% more for airline tickets. And St. John is lovely so no hardship whatsoever. You'll enjoy the ability to be sitting on your boat within a few minutes ride from the airport and I am positive you'll enjoy the boat you've chartered at CYOA - likely near new and ready for your arrival. Ok... so I'm a little biased since my boat "Dream Machine" is at CYOA. But for the same reason you'll enjoy chartering from them. My boat is being well cared for.

Life's short - sail more!

We too just recently completed our first charter with them, 11 days aboard Lady Juliette. It was our 8th or 9th charter in USVI/BVI and first time with CYOA. We were happy with both the boat and service. We have been with Moorings and more recently several times with IYC in Red Hook . We like IYC very much too, but their boats were all damaged by Irma and I don’t think they are back up to speed quite yet.

Captain Jay, if you read this —- any luck getting our flag back down?!?
