Meeting friends from a cruise on 4th and they would like to see some of the regatta. Where woul the best viewing point be that day?

I believe that the race is going to be all around the island that day. Not trying to be sarcastic, but the best viewing spot is from a spectator boat, but they are probably all booked by now.

Therefore, next best option is anywhere along the shoreline, where you can enjoy yourself and watch the boats from a (long)distance. The starts and finishes are offshore of Simpson Bay, but one probably won't see much from there.

Thanks. Didn't realise it would be around the island. In the past we have watched the Friday race from Orient around lunch time and then Dawn Beach a little later.
