Just thought I’d share a little trip report on our first charter experience to the BVIs.
We have been travelling to St.Maarten for many years and always thought it would
be fun to do a sailing charter. Since we’ve been to all the islands in that area, thought
it would be great to see the BVIs. So we had 2 other couples interested and we started
planning a year ago. After much research we found a contact who recommended
TMM in Tortola. We looked at their fleet and saw they had a new catamaran coming.
A Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 called Boomerang.
It looked perfect so we made the leap and began the process.
Upon arrival at TMM everything went smooth,, we met with our captain and we were
on our way,,,,first stop Peter Island...
I have started a video series on Youtube that pretty much explains it all,,,,
so be sure to check it out..here are the first 4 episodes of our trip..

Looks like a great time. May have to check out the Saba next year. I like the seating area near the helm and the main traveler vs. the bridle on the Moorings 4800

Yup....we were 6 at the front end/corner of the actual bar at The Pub. We could see indoor and outdoor...kind of right in the doorway. Had a blast...until we tried to pay the bill and they appeared to double charge us for buckets of beer. They charged us for 8 buckets (48 beers) and 2 people weren't even drinking beer. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

We definitely saw you at Potters...my wife and I were hanging out there waiting for the other 4 to come back from their dirt bike ride when you were checking out the Lobsters.

Just curious how you arranged the diving? Did you have tanks on the boat or did you arrange for a dive op to meet you on the boat and take you out? IF so, what dive op did you use?

Thanks, eh!

our friends arranged the tanks trough a local place that TMM recommended,, they had them refilled at Bitter End and once we were done our trip they were picked up at TMM was all pretty easy,,,

Thanks, eh!

Great video again!
Does anyone know what that floating "bar" is in front of Ivan's? (at about 4:35 in the video) Is that new?

very enjoyable videos Thanks -- I will be saving that Soggy Dollar video though to show anyone who wants to go there what kind of crowds exist during the days - [just another BVI place I have crossed off my list].
A wise decision to head over to Great Harbour for your overnight!! Much less nighttime tension.

Nice! Thanks

What is the song that's playing at the beginning of Episode 3 Anegada? I like it!
