Cleobeach, equally as fascinating is to purchase and renovate on Jost......oh my head! Ha! the subject of buying/building always comes up after a couple of drinks. My husband will say "it can't be that hard........" yet he knows it is. There is a highly entertaining blog written by a couple who built their own house on STJ and the stuff he wrote about dealing with the subs had me laughing out loud.
