Monday – Orient near The Perch -windyyy, almost cool, clouds and rain came by 1 or so. Quick bite at Orange Fever, Nicoise salad – real tuna, nice.
Beer and a chat with Charlie next door and called it an early day on the beach

Tuesday
Still windy, overcast and rain – almost cold!. Lunch at Brothers – Chicken roti’s – very good, tried Monique’s special hot sauce – not for the faint at heart!

Wed
Better, but still sat 3rd row to reduce the wind blast. Snoop Dog’s look alike was at Charlie’s.
For the amount of ships in, I thought Orient not so crowded

For those counting, Sunday was yellow and a surprise switch to green in the pm, Monday was black, missed Tues, today [Wed] a purple pattern we’ve seen before.

Yellow Sub rotisserie chicken still good. Cheryl’s old spot was called O‘Last, rebranding to First

More to come - maybe

It's been very windy the past few days, for sure!

Sorry, not sure what you mean about the colors? Yellow and green, black??

Colours? - for 2 maybe 3 yrs we have noticed a couple who colour co-ordinate their bathing suit bottoms. They also have matching hats. They walk the beach daily
I admire the work it must take and am surprised by how many have noticed. I also admit to being amused by small things while on vacance

I could be mistaken but I think they are members and regular posters here if it's the same couple I'm thinking of. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

There are two different couples that do that. One couple is there for an extended time twice a year and model the suits they have had made by Luis. They walk the entire length of the beach several times a day and are referred to as " Ken and Barbie". They hang out on the Club O Beach and are personally known by many.

Pat--actually, no, the people you are thinking of, the wife has colors for the day, but not the husband.

Ken and Barbie usually change their suits at least once each day as well. We see them when we're there in November/December.

You may be thinking about poster CathyG. Her and hubby have coordinating outfits at night. I don't think they do the bathing suit thing at ClubO. She does great trip reports and years ago she had pictures of all her outfits. I think she set the record one time for "most luggage".

More than once Georgia. Yes they are there now and will be there in Nov/Dec and maybe a few more times.

TH,

Yes, I was thinking it was a Cathy but I wasn't absolutely sure so thanks for the response. And re the record for the most luggage, they may have come close but I think there's an old record that would be very difficult to beat! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Exactly who I had in mind. I wonder how they are and hope Ed is well.
I believe he/they had some health issues the last I heard and were limiting their trips to more local destinations. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
